Let’s clear one thing up. I’ve read a few race reports from round 1 of the Gravity Enduro stating that it’s a sport for retired downhillers. While this may be true I’d like to let everyone know I have definitely not retired from downhill. Downhill is still my sport of choice, I just love racing and Enduro has a lot of racing.

The analogy “If you juggle too many balls you’ll drop one eventually” is one that is probably quite apt, especially since I can only juggle with three balls… on a good day.
It’s Friday, 3pm and some boxes have just turned up at the door. The boxes contain some of the parts for my new Enduro racing machine and it’s like christmas x 10 opening them all to find the shiny goodness inside. The pleasure is short lived as the bike needs to be finished for practice the following day and unfortunately not everything has arrived. In the confusion of trying to coordinate all the deliveries from all the different sponsors I’ve forgotten one.
Steve’s coming along nicely. Next up was the roof, I stuck some kingspan to the roof and held in place with some sticks creating a treated pine forest.

Steve is a medium wheel base medium height roof transit packing 100hp of duratorque goodness. Steve is currently going through a makeover which I’ll be documenting here.

On the run up to the SDA at Fort William Sick Skills was busy! 5 of the 7 days prior I was coaching up Fort William and the other 2 where spent coaching elsewhere. I got to work with some great people and it was so cool to see people learning and improving from Sick Skills coaching sessions. Very promising for the future.
